DeMar DeRozan's Daughter Steals the Show at NBA Play-In Tournament
Viral Moment Features 9-Year-Old Distracting Raptors Players
"She's a Little Firecracker," Says DeRozan
CHICAGO—The daughter of Chicago Bulls star DeMar DeRozan has once again gone viral for her antics at an NBA game.
During the Bulls' 109-105 victory over the Toronto Raptors in the NBA Play-In Tournament on Wednesday, DeRozan's 9-year-old daughter, Diar, stole the show with her enthusiastic shrieks from the sidelines. Her vocal efforts were so distracting that they were even picked up by the game's broadcast microphones.
After the game, DeRozan praised his daughter's unwavering support.
"She's a little firecracker," DeRozan said. "She loves the game and she gets really into it. I'm just glad she had fun tonight."
This isn't the first time DeRozan's daughters have made headlines. Last season, Diar and her sister, Mari, were caught on camera trying to distract opposing players during a Bulls game. Their antics have since become a viral sensation, with fans praising the girls' enthusiasm and spirit.
DeRozan said that he encourages his daughters to be themselves and to express their love for the game in their own way.
"I want them to know that they can be anything they want to be and that they should never be afraid to show their passion," DeRozan said.
